Thirsty Bstrd is a multidisciplinary, self-taught artist, living and working in Paris, France. Using various urban art tools, he creates thought-provoking works by giving popular images and symbols a humorous twist. Drawing inspiration from contemporary art and pop culture, his works act as satirical commentaries on social and political issues as well as consumerist culture.
Between 2011 and 2015, Thirsty Bstrd was the artistic director of his own creative agency based in Paris. In addition to this role, he worked as a curator and organiser of numerous urban art exhibitions in Paris and Los Angeles, showing his own art at every opportunity.
Owing to his creativity and subversive sense of humour, his work has been exhibited in galleries across the globe - from New York to Singapore - and is held in many prestigious private collections worldwide. By merging ingenious statements with paradoxical images, Thirsty Bstrd creates bold, eye-catching art that is both funny and provocative.
